 LAB: Clinical Applications

The seminar series concludes with Lab: Clinical Applications, a scenario based application of the treatment protocol. Eligibility for this seminar requires completion of all prior seminars in the series within no more than two academic years.

 

Upon completion, participants will be able to:

  • Design an effective treatment plan based on a complete Intake Evaluation
  • Relate precipitating and perpetuating factors to the treatment plan and address with corrective actions
  • Effectively explain the treatment plan to the patient and create an on-going partnership
  • Document objective findings and patient progress using SOAP note format
  • Identify significant findings relevant to communication with other healthcare practitioners
  • Locate MTrPs for injection and treat patients post-injection
  • Effectively perform the Spray and Stretch Technique
  • Develop a multidisciplinary approach by involving other healthcare practitioners
